Summer Programs

Performance Opportunities
Musical Chairs students participate in numerous performance opportunities including Open Mic Nights at Borelli's Pizzeria, and Formal Recitals. Performing is an important part of music education as it builds self-confidence together with demonstrating the importance of sharing one's gifts with the community. All performance opportunities are with a non-stressful, supportive, and nurturing approach.
Community Engagement
We believe in fostering community engagement in our students. Musical Chairs creates opportunities for students to share with their community. Through our Serenading Seniors program, we perform for senior living communities both in person (when restrictions allow) and through video platform.
Leadership Development
We encouraging leadership development by awarding our high school students mentorship and leadership training opportunities through our Play it Forward and Practice Buddies programs.
