Our immersion program is designed to help students get through the initial learning curve through more frequent lessons with "in studio" practice occurring immediately following the lesson. The immersion program is recommended for a period of at least 4 weeks. Independent practice at home is not required and, in fact, is discouraged to avoid developing bad habits. Once a certain core music foundation and a strong practice routine has been established, students can transition to standard weekly lessons.

Students work directly with an instructor for 30 to 45 minutes and then apply what they have learned during a 15 to 30 minute practice session in the studio immediately following the lesson. Time frames are dependent on the student's age. The process gives the student access to their instructor should questions arise when they try to apply what was learned in the lesson. This builds good practice skills from the very beginning and dramatically improves the student's success rate. Sessions are held 2-3 times per week.
Private and Group lessons are offered for children and adults in Piano, Voice, Guitar, Trumpet, Saxophone, Ukulele, Flute, Violin, Cello and Percussion and are customized to blend with the learning style of each student. Weekly lessons are 30, 45 or 60 minutes depending on student level and are available to children entering Kindergarten - 1st grade or older. Success with weekly private lessons is highly dependent on regular, consistent home practice. Group / Semi-private lessons are available when 2-3 students of similar age and ability are able to combine for lessons. This is based on availability of students.
For adults, we offer flexible scheduling on a charge per lesson basis. Daytime, weekend and evening hours are available.
The immersion program includes the benefits of private lessons, yet eliminates the largest obstacle: at home practice. In the early stages of learning any musical instrument, most students do not have enough core music knowledge or good practice habits to successfully practice at home without some level of supervision. This is the primary reason why many students become discouraged and fail during their first year of lessons.
